Wow, I can imagine. Were they anonymous? I think that might be slightly therapeutic and so important for education and awareness. It kills me that predators think they can hurt people in the most intimate of ways.
some were....some weren't. some were about friends they'd seen get hurt and never said anything. some were messages to ex-boyfriends that made them feel like they weren't enough. some were messages to fathers they'd seen hurt their mothers. some were to rapists that had taken advantage of these women. i think it was incredibly therapeutic. i hope the Lord used the campaign in big ways. i know He broke my heart, and i'm thankful that He did. i'm sick of being numb to sin and the pain of others. we need to feel it...and that's exactly how it was while i was reading these shirts.

ReplyDeleteit's part of a about violence against women. they were filled with raw, personal accounts of rape and such. it broke my heart.
